Every year the city of gardens becomes even more greener and fragrant for four days at the end of August. Tulln plays host to the "Internationale Gartenbaumesse", the biggest flower show in Europe and a favourite arena for garden experts from around the globe. This event in Tulln attracts everyone, from professional and amateur gardeners to those who simply want to admire the well-tended parks and gardens.

How it all began? Well, it was back in the fall of 1953. The first flower parade rolled through Tulln while Austria was still occupied by the Allied Powers. A year later 150 beautifully decorated floats took part. This custom gave rise to one  of the biggest highlights in the garden city of Tulln: Internationale Gartenbaumesse, the international horticulture exhibition that Tulln puts on in late August every year.

Welcome to the flower show!

The best gardeners, florists and garden planners show their magnificent masterpieces in 80,000 square meters of exhibition space, presenting the latest trends and supplying a host of ideas to visitors for their gardens at home. The total exhibition space is about the size of ten soccer fields—so there is a superabundance of green!

The annual show of Austrian horticulturists and florists is a definite highlight every year. Thousands of flowers are arranged into unique floral artworks in a sea of colors, shapes and fragrances.

1 admission, 2 garden highlights

The admission ticket to the international horticulture exhibition also allows the ticketholder to visit the adjoining GARTEN TULLN. That means the exhibition ticket opens the door to 180,000 square meters of delightful flora. There has never been so much garden in a single spot!
