Tulln and its surroundings have a lot to offer gourmets and those who enjoy good cuisine. Local delicacies, traditional inn cuisine and award-winning gastronomy make Tulln and its surroundings an authentic culinary region. Within a radius of 20 kilometres there are also renowned wine inns. For the top enterprises of the region there is a special marking: the green panel stating “NÖ-Wirtshauskultur” (Lower Austria Inn Culture).

Discerning gourmets can also make finds in and around Tulln: The restaurants Sodoma/Zur Sonne in Tulln and "Der Floh" and "Das Wolf" in nearby Langenlebarn also boast many awards.

On the picnic lawn at the Donaulände you can relax with a picnic and enjoy leisurely time to the full. Brimming picnic baskets with selected regional delicacies can be ordered in advance at Taverne² and the Diamond City Hotel. For gourmets we also recommend the delicatessen shop “Mediteran Oase” on Bahnhofstrasse and the Tulln Naschmarkt that takes place every Friday on the main square. There are vegetarian organic delicacies from Monday to Saturday at “Bio am Platz” at the Tulln main square.
